<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow market share within the North American defense sector
&#9;<li>Build, manage, and expand relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
&#9;<li>Analyze market segments to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities across relevant defense domains
&#9;<li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with prime contractors, system integrators, and government stakeholders
&#9;<li>Collaborate with leadership to define and implement go-to-market strategies and account growth plans
&#9;<li>Lead the full sales lifecycle, including opportunity identification, qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation
&#9;<li>Support and contribute to technical proposals, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and program objectives
&#9;<li>Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting using CRM tools
&#9;<li>Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
</ul>

<strong>Required Qualifications</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Bachelorâs degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
&#9;<li>Minimum 5+ years of experience in government or defense-related sales
&#9;<li>Proven success selling complex hardware and/or software solutions into defense markets
&#9;<li>Strong understanding of C5ISR, radar systems, embedded computing, or mission processing technologies
&#9;<li>Experience working with major defense primes and system integrators
&#9;<li>Familiarity with U.S. government procurement and acquisition processes
&#9;<li>Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and develop winning proposals
&#9;<li>Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
&#9;<li>Proficiency with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
</ul>

<strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Prior military experience or direct exposure to defense operations
&#9;<li>Experience with complex systems integration or advanced technical solution selling
&#9;<li>Formal sales training or certifications in complex/consultative selling methodologies
&#9;<li>Existing network within the defense and aerospace industry
