Work closely with design engineering, manufacturing, quality, and test teams to ensure successful product launches.

Assist in developing test procedures, troubleshooting methodologies, and validation processes.

Provide technical feedback to engineering teams regarding recurring production issues and potential design improvements.

Support manufacturing and production teams during product ramp-up activities.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve test processes, calibration procedures, and product reliability.

Document troubleshooting activities, corrective actions, and lessons learned.

Contribute to process improvements that increase manufacturing yield and product quality.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be strongly considered.

Demonstrated experience troubleshooting RF hardware at the PCB or subsystem level.

Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, signal chains, and RF measurement techniques.

Hands-on experience using RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and signal generators.

Ability to analyze RF performance issues and identify root causes.

Experience supporting hardware validation, integration, manufacturing, or production test activities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering and laboratory environment.

Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. Person.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting RF calibration and production verification testing (PVT).

Hands-on soldering, component replacement, and hardware rework experience.

RF PCB design experience.

Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability products.

Familiarity with EMI/EMC troubleshooting and compliance testing.

Experience working with automated test systems or electronic test equipment.

Work Environment
This position is primarily laboratory-based and requires extensive hands-on interaction with RF hardware, test equipment, and prototype systems. The successful candidate should enjoy working directly with hardware and troubleshooting complex technical challenges in a collaborative engineering environment.
Location
This position is onsite. Candidates within commuting distance are preferred; relocation assistance may be available for highly qualified candidates.

RF measurement proficiency using equipment such as a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), power meter, spectrum analyzer, and RF signal source.

Ability to apply test equipment and testing techniques to validate both component and overall system operation (small-signal and large-signal; linear and non-linear behavior).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot with minimal documentation (e.g., without schematics, materials lists, or OEM documentation).

Ability to interpret technical artifacts such as schematics/diagrams, wire lists, waveforms, and diagnostic results related to system functionality.

Experience testing, troubleshooting, and repairing RF systems, with working knowledge of both digital and analog circuitry.

Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision/mentoring.

Consistent, detail-oriented recordkeeping practices, including documenting findings and maintaining records for future reference.

Preferred qualifications
The following backgrounds are beneficial but not required:

Familiarity with two-way radio systems.

Exposure to electronic countermeasure (ECM) or jamming systems.

Familiarity with radar and identification-related RF systems.

Security and eligibility requirements
This role requires eligibility for access to classified information in accordance with applicable regulations. U.S. citizenship is required.
