About the Role
As a Senior Developer, you'll be an integral part of a dedicated and close-knit team, working remotely to develop core software and new adaptations for a diverse customer base. Reporting to the Lead Developer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our product's future, leveraging your experience to make key development decisions and contribute significantly to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in software troubleshooting and debugging efforts.
- Spearhead development projects as directed by the Lead Developer and Program Manager.
- Innovate by programming new functions into our flagship software, catering to customer needs.
- Provide occasional technical support to customers in the field.
- Collaborate in team development planning and execution.
- Lend technical expertise to support program leaders.
- Facilitate integration with other simulated training systems.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Unity, including:
- Unity graphics programming.
- Working with Unity Terrains.
- Unity UI programming.
- Dynamic initiation of Game Objects.
- Strong foundation in math and physics:
- Knowledge of projectiles and splines.
- Proficiency in 3D Math.
- Understanding of dot product and cross product concepts.
- Proficiency in using various C# collections.
- Experience with DIS/HLA Networking.
- Background in game development (preferred).
- VR/XR development experience (a plus).
