Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in the dynamic environment of Norco, CA. This is an opportunity for you to apply your technical skills, enthusiasm for technology, and dedication to supporting operational necessities of sophisticated computer network systems. This position demands a secret clearance, providing you with a chance to handle sensitive information and significantly contribute to our mission.
In your role as a Systems Administrator, you will administer and enhance the everyday operation of computer network systems, which encompass workstations, file servers, and web servers. You will navigate through tasks such as hardware and software installation, systems upgrades, and network account management. A major part of your role will involve strengthening network security through maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing various network security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection services.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for web page design, interface updates, local system design documentation, and monitoring system configurations. Your strong communication skills will come into play as you train our staff on relevant software, assist customers with information technology inquiries, and provide instruction on computers and applications.
As a Systems Administrator, you should comply with the Cyber WorkForce (CWF) directives. Your contribution will be instrumental in maintaining the up-to-date status of our systems with respect to certifications.
Education & Experience:
A Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems is typically required for this position. Furthermore, we are looking for candidates with around 7 years of professional experience in systems administration.
Compensation:
The offered salary for this position is $83,631.
