Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Stockroom Associate to support inventory and material flow operations within a dynamic production environment. This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing materials, performing inventory counts, supporting shipping/receiving, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the stockroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders

  • Place items in designated stockroom locations or replenish shortages on production work orders

  • Pull parts based on material transfer requests and job-specific work orders

  • Move materials from stock to the work-in-process (WIP) production floor as needed

  • Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits using pre-generated reports

  • Accurately enter transactions and material movements in the ERP system

  • Provide backup support for shipping and receiving activities as necessary

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the stockroom and surrounding spaces

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems

  • Ability to operate an electronic scale and other material handling tools

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for handling materials

  • Frequently required to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted and occasionally up to 40 lbs with assistance

  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or climbing as required by material handling tasks

  • Moderate noise environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts
