Job Description

As a Software/Power Application Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing applications built on the Microsoft Power Platform. Your technical expertise, combined with a solid understanding of business processes, will drive the development of efficient and effective full-stack software solutions. If you’re ready to make an impact in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Dataverse.
- Collaborate with Power App Developers to execute and document a Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Maintain and manage code repositories, data flows, and development documentation.
- Prepare and execute unit tests and test plans using various frameworks (e.g., NUnit, Selenium).
- Collect requirements and develop software fixes, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity directives.
- Document software components, including logic, coding, and testing changes.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies, adhering to Army standards as required.
- Assist in project planning and contribute to the design of secure systems, including web applications and data warehousing.
- Communicate effectively with team members and prepare briefings for leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Active, Interim, or eligible for a Secret security clearance.
- CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification (CISSP) is required.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with Power Platform, Power Apps, and relevant technologies (C#, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, .NET Framework, MS SQL).
- Familiarity with enabling technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, Advanced PowerShell, and IIS.
- Experience with source control tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GIT).
- Strong ability to document development processes and maintain application documentation.
- Knowledge of DoD environments is a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working within a DoD environment.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and change management processes.
- Strong communication skills for both verbal and written interactions.
