Front-End Web Software Engineer
Location: Huntsville, AL (minimal travel required)
We’re seeking a talented Front-End Web Software Engineer to help modernize mission-critical planning tools by transitioning them from desktop to cloud-native web applications. This role is central to designing and developing the next generation of interactive, high-performance web applications used to support complex operational planning efforts.

We’re seeking a talented Front-End Web Software Engineer to help modernize mission-critical planning tools by transitioning them from desktop to cloud-native web applications. This role is central to designing and developing the next generation of interactive, high-performance web applications used to support complex operational planning efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces using Microsoft Blazor (Server and WebAssembly)
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create seamless, efficient experiences
- Participate in the full software development life cycle within a CMMI Level 3 environment
- Contribute to architectural decisions and front-end best practices
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve web applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in front-end web development with a focus on ASP.NET and Blazor
- Proficiency in C#, .NET 6.0+, and front-end debugging tools
- Strong grasp of UI/UX principles and responsive design
- Familiarity with JavaScript (React/Angular), HTML/CSS, Docker, and cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
- Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, or CMMI practices
- Knowledge of modeling and simulation applications
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively
- Are proactive and adaptable in dynamic technical environments
- Prioritize usability and accessibility in your designs
