Job Description
This role focuses on developing user interface applications that control a virtual simulation suite. You will be responsible for adding new functionality, enhancing existing features, and contributing insights for future development.
Job Core Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to build the next generation of user interface applications.
-
Analyze user stories to understand new feature requirements.
-
Develop new functionality to meet these requirements and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders and leads.

Experience:
-
3+ years in user-interface focused development.
-
3+ years working with .NET, C#, WPF, and object-oriented programming techniques.
-
Proficiency in MVVM frameworks and principles, strong understanding of component development, and building complex visualizations (Grid, Charts, etc.).

Distributed Application Development:
-
Familiarity with messaging frameworks.
-
Solid understanding of asynchronous and multi-threaded development.
-
Comfortable incorporating multiple, concurrent application states into feature designs.

Skills: Strong problem-solving and software design skills to determine next steps for day-to-day work.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field.

Experience writing design documentation.

Experience creating unit-level and integration test plans.

Experience with network communications and databases.

Familiarity with agile software development methodology.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Strong software design skills.
