Job Description
Are you ready to contribute to critical defense technology and innovations that have a direct impact on national security? We are seeking a dedicated Developer to join our GMD Weapon System (GWS) Architecture and Delivery (A&D) SPA SIM team. In this vital role, you will harness your expertise in software development to work on internal model framework development, tactical to model conversions, and application development efforts. You will also play a key role in translating coding languages for modernization initiatives. This position provides the opportunity to not only develop cutting-edge technology but also engage in the verification and validation processes, contributing to the crucial documentation of our models.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM-related field with a minimum of 2 years and maximum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree in a STEM-related field with up to 2 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in C++, GoLang, Cython, Bash, Javascript, SQL, MongoDB.
- Recent experience in GMD GS/GWS Model Development.
- Experience in developing code in a DevOps environment using tools like Bitbucket or GitHub.
- Agile methodology experience.
- Proficiency in both Windows and Unix operating systems.
- Ability to work in an in-person, secure-area environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science.
- Experience with Ada, MATLAB, Rust.
- Familiarity with integrated risk management.
- Skills in requirements development and collaboration.
- Exposure to Stimulation and Simulation Software.
