Software Engineer (Java / Angular)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Java and Angular to support Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives. This hybrid role is based in Orlando, FL, with a preference for candidates in the Research Park area. Remote candidates may be considered if they are a well-known and reliable professional within the industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in DoD programs and familiarity with live training systems.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with a preference for candidates who can operate in Orlando, FL. Remote work arrangements may be available for candidates with a proven track record of reliability and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Java and Angular technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement microservices and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) methodologies.
- Participate in Agile development processes, utilizing tools such as JIRA and Confluence for project management.
- Develop and enhance web-based applications and user interfaces to meet program objectives.
- Active Secret Clearance (Interim clearance may be considered in exceptional cases).
- U.S. Citizenship is required for eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably in the DoD space.
- Proficiency in Java and Angular.
- Experience with the Spring framework and web programming.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including SAFe.
- Proficiency with the Atlassian suite, including JIRA and Confluence.
- Exposure to microservices and modern development architectures.
