We're seeking a Flight Simulator Modification Engineer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position will involve designing, developing, integrating, and testing simulation models, hardware, and software for flight simulators.

As a Flight Simulator Modification Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and modifying various simulator-related systems. This can range from systems that mimic actual aircraft systems and avionics to those needed for the simulation of the real-world environment or executing the overall simulation system.

Your work will be closely tied to electrical and mechanical design, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. You will also develop test criteria and design software for these systems. You'll have opportunities to work across various functions, including Avionics Systems, Aircraft Systems, Aerodynamics Systems, Computer Systems, and Visual Systems.

We highly value programming experience in C/C++ or other high-level languages. Experience with Aircraft, Avionics, and Aviation is a plus. You should have excellent communication skills, very good organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and teamwork abilities are also required.

You should be proficient in common software programs such as Microsoft Windows Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in aerodynamics, electrical, or computer engineering, or a related field, is required.

Our comprehensive benefits package includes a competitive salary, sign-on bonuses, and paid time off that increases with service tenure. We observe 11 paid holidays and offer various leave options, including parental, bereavement, jury duty, and military leave. We offer a robust 401(k) plan with a company match and a company-paid shutdown period at the end of the year for you to enjoy time with family.

We are proud to fully cover employee premiums for medical and dental insurance. Additionally, we cover either spouse or family premiums for medical insurance, extending to full family coverage after ten years of service. We also offer vision insurance (employee-paid), and fully company-paid long-term disability coverage, with optional short-term disability coverage (employee-paid).

Our employees have access to Health Spending Accounts (HSA), tuition reimbursement, and student loan repayment. While our positions aren't entirely remote, we do have a flexible work-from-home policy that is dependent on the position. We believe in work-life balance and offer flexible work schedules. Furthermore, we provide opportunities for personal and professional development through internal training, certification programs, and unlimited access to online learning opportunities.
