Job Description
Join an innovative engineering team as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge hardware solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in FPGA design, high-speed interfaces, and embedded systems to drive technology forward in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:

Lead and execute hardware design projects, emphasizing FPGA development and high-speed video I/O.

Design complex analog and digital circuits using advanced CAD tools.

Conduct high-speed signal integrity analysis using HyperLynx simulations.
-
Develop and maintain documentation including schematics, layout guidelines, and test procedures.
-
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate embedded systems using GPUs and networking switches.
-
Interface effectively with engineering peers, providing senior-level technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
-
Extensive experience in hardware design engineering, particularly FPGA development.
-
Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer and OrCAD.

Demonstrated experience with high-speed circuit design (e.g., video I/O, analog interfaces).

Skilled in signal integrity and system simulations using HyperLynx.
-
Knowledge of communication protocols including VME, PCI, I²C, SPI, and Ethernet.

Embedded systems design expertise.
-
Hands-on experience with GPUs and network switches.
Desired Qualifications:

Experience designing high-speed hardware solutions for defense or similar regulated industries.

Familiarity with VPX (3U VPX) and XMC form factors.

Proven track record mentoring junior engineers or leading engineering teams.

Ability to assume senior-level accountability and provide leadership within an engineering organization.
