Job Description


Job Title: Senior Designer
Location: Hagerstown, MD
Pay Rate: $64.66 per hour

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Designer to support complex design and development efforts in aerospace and defense applications. In this role, you will create and review detailed layouts, drawings, and models to ensure accuracy and clarity, while identifying and resolving design deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop advanced designs for mission payloads, electronic systems, and integrated aircraft components
  • Review and revise engineering models and drawings for completeness and accuracy
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity and manufacturability
  • Recommend improvements and design revisions as needed

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of relevant experience (higher education may substitute for experience)
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering tools such as SOLIDWORKS, Creo, NX, ProEngineer, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Enovia 3Dxperience
  • Familiarity with ASME and government standards and GD&T per ASME Y14.5
  • Background in aerospace or defense preferred
