Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and oversee our quality assurance operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of quality management systems, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, and have a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement. This role involves managing a team of quality supervisors and inspectors, ensuring adherence to international standards, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control systems and processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality supervisors and inspectors, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and management teams to address quality issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the use of advanced inspection technologies, such as ferroarm technology and touchpoint probes, to ensure precision and accuracy in quality control.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the quality control team.
  • Ensure effective communication of quality-related information across the organization.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to actively participate in quality enhancement initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards and their application in manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in quality management tools and software, including SOLIDWORKS, POLYWORKS, CAD, and 3D scanner technology.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Certification in quality management, such as Six Sigma or CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in quality management, such as Six Sigma or CQE (Certified Quality Engineer).

  • Experience in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) and knowledge of welding or machining processes is a plus.
