As a Network/Systems Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of defense training platforms. Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, implement, and maintain systems and networks within a virtualized architecture for defense training platforms.
  • Work with multiple vendor platforms including Windows, Linux, Cisco, and VMware.
  • Proficient in Windows Server Active Directory, domain replication, and GPO implementation.
  • Configure Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Plan, test, and implement new security technologies and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with various teams and vendors.
  • Create documentation and diagrams for existing and new system environments.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Provide support to field locations, including occasional travel.
  • Lift, carry, and install equipment up to 40lbs.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Ability to take technical direction and understand overall requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of switching technologies and routing protocols.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting ASA site-to-site VPN connections.
  • Proficient in network configurations using Command Line Interface (CLI).
  • Familiarity with SolarWinds and network security.
  • Advanced knowledge in Windows Servers 2019 Domain Controllers.
  • Experience in modifying and implementing GPOs.
  • Experience with VMWare/vCenter/vSphere v7 and related technologies.
  • U.S. Citizenship and capability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.

Required Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Systems or Software Engineering, or related field (or 5 years’ experience in lieu of degree).
  • 8570 Compliant IAT Level II or greater (e.g., Security+, CISSP) required within six months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong Cisco Firepower and Linux support skills.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, network file systems, web, and mail servers.
  • Advanced VMware deployment skills.
  • Strong Windows Administration skills in a virtualized environment.
  • Knowledge of modeling and simulations systems used by the US military.

Salary and Additional Information:
  • Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000.
  • On-site position in Orlando, FL.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification required.
