Mechanical Engineer – Aerospace Systems
Location: DFW
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage the creation of mechanical systems for aerospace projects, ensuring adherence to ARP4754 standards.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to define and enhance the Concept of Operations (ConOps) in line with business objectives and design goals.
  • Develop and design mechanical architectures that are scalable across product generations, meeting ARP4754A, ARP4761, and DO-178C guidelines throughout development stages.
  • Break down system requirements and use cases, and prepare a Requirement Verification and Evidence Plan.
  • Produce deliverables for Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) as per the System Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
  • Formulate and implement System Test Plans following the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).
  • Ensure close coordination with engineering, product, and operations teams to meet project requirements.
  • Engage in research and development efforts to drive operational automation and innovation.
  • Support ongoing process improvement and testing initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience in mechanical engineering for aerospace systems (open to varying levels of expertise).
  • In-depth knowledge of ARP4754A, ARP4761, and DO-178C standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Background in cross-functional alignment and system testing.
