Job Description
Join our dynamic manufacturing team in a pivotal role designed to optimize our production processes. We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Scheduler to enhance our operational efficiency for a fixed term of a few months. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation and maintenance of schedules for the manufacturing of large, complex devices. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in coordinating efforts across Manufacturing, Engineering, and Purchasing departments, ensuring a seamless production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using MS Project, integrating inputs from Manufacturing, Engineering, and Purchasing departments.
- Analyze project requirements to identify critical dependencies and incorporate them into the schedule.
- Apply resource loading techniques to schedules to balance workload and optimize resource allocation.
- Actively communicate with internal teams and external vendors to gather necessary updates and adjustments to the schedule.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing scheduling, preferably with large and complex devices.
- Proficient in MS Project, with a strong understanding of scheduling mechanics and resource management.
- Ability to identify and manage dependencies in production schedules.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to collect and integrate schedule inputs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to reach out to and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
