Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems across a variety of engineering projects. This role focuses on developing robust, well-analyzed designs using 3D modeling tools and Finite Elements Analysis (FEA). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and refine mechanical systems and components using 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.

Perform Finite Elements Analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural integrity, validate design assumptions, and optimize performance.

Collaborate closely with drafters, designers, and engineers across multiple disciplines to ensure accurate and efficient design execution.

Review and approve technical drawings, calculations, and engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Support design reviews, troubleshooting efforts, and engineering change evaluations.

Participate in site visits and field verifications as needed to support design accuracy and implementation.

Proven experience in mechanical engineering design and analysis.

Strong proficiency in 3D design software, including Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD; working knowledge of SolidWorks is acceptable.

Comprehensive understanding and practical application of Finite Elements Analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required.

Professional Engineering (PE) certification required.

Experience working with complex mechanical assemblies and engineered systems.

Familiarity with applicable engineering codes, standards, and best practices.

Ability to provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafting staff.
