Logistics Specialist I
Location: Hagerstown MD
Pay: $23/hour
Clearance: Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
About the Role
We’re seeking a Logistics Specialist I to support the preparation, documentation, and coordination of logistics for spares, tools, test equipment, and materials. This role ensures proper routing, record-keeping, and allocation of parts and manuals, while learning import/export regulations and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain logistics documentation.
  • Coordinate and track shipments, spares, and repair parts.
  • Support allocation and storage of materials.
  • Learn and apply regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED (higher degree or related experience may substitute).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
Preferred Skills
  • Inventory database and supply chain/logistics knowledge.
  • Experience with AvPro or similar aviation systems.
  • HazMat certification and forklift operation.
  • Experience with shipping systems (FedEx, DHL, UPS).
  • Aerospace, Defense, DoD, or Military background.
