Overview:
We are seeking a Logistics Specialist I to assist with logistics documentation, inventory tracking, and materials coordination for tools, spares, and equipment. This role supports the routing, shipping, and recordkeeping of materials while ensuring compliance with import/export and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain logistics documentation for materials, tools, and related manuals
- Coordinate and track the shipment and storage of parts and equipment
- Support compliance with state, federal, and international shipping regulations
- Maintain records for inventory allocation and storage facilities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (higher education or related experience may substitute)
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Exposure to inventory databases and logistics principles preferred
- Familiarity with aviation maintenance tracking systems (e.g., AvPro) and HazMat training a plus
- Experience with shipping platforms such as FedEx, DHL, or UPS
