Desktop Support Technician
Location: Englewood, CO (Onsite Only)
Pay Rate: $28.97/hour

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on, customer-focused IT support in an onsite corporate environment. This is a standard desktop support role ideal for a high-energy professional with a strong customer service mindset who enjoys direct user engagement and problem solving.
The ideal candidate takes ownership of issues, communicates clearly with end users, and consistently delivers excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, repair, and support computing hardware, software, networking, and related peripherals
- Perform break/fix support, moves/adds/changes, and integration of new and existing IT equipment
- Provide basic network support to ensure full connectivity of desktops and networked peripherals
- Perform preventative maintenance and setup for computer equipment, including conference rooms and audio-visual conferencing systems
- Deliver outstanding, customer-centered IT support with a focus on user satisfaction
- Resolve IT incidents and service requests or escalate to upper-tier IT teams as needed
- Accurately enter, prioritize, track, update, and close tickets using the IT Service Desk system, phone requests, and walk-up support
- Support IT department policies, procedures, and organizational initiatives
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of local IT systems documentation
- Strong customer/solution ownership with a drive for excellence
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to share knowledge
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with end users
- Demonstrated customer care philosophy and commitment to service quality
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Basic knowledge of IT standards related to:
- Computers and laptops
- Printers and peripherals
- Network technology and connectivity
- Drivers and software troubleshooting
- Comprehensive troubleshooting skills across industry-standard hardware and software
- Associate’s Degree in a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Standard desktop support role
