Flight Test Engineer – Aerospace Systems
Location: DFW
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute flight test programs, ensuring alignment with certification standards such as ARP4754A, DO-160, and DO-178C.
  • Develop detailed flight test plans and procedures, including instrumentation setups, safety measures, and test protocols.
  • Manage evidence matrices to support the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) process, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with certification authorities like FAA and EASA to facilitate successful system certification.
  • Analyze flight test data to validate system performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee system integration and test setups, ensuring adherence to performance and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive flight test reports and compliance documentation for certification bodies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with the STC process and managing certification evidence.
  • Strong background in flight test execution, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of ARP4754A, DO-160, and DO-178C standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to manage dynamic project environments.
