Finance, HR, and Operations Manager
Location: Orlando, FL – In Person
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: President / Director of Operations
Collaborates With: Corporate Finance and Human Resources Teams
Position Overview
A growing organization is seeking a dynamic, organized, and adaptable Finance, HR, and Operations Manager to oversee critical financial, human resources, administrative, and operational functions.

This position will manage responsibilities including bookkeeping oversight, payroll and timekeeping systems, accounts receivable and payable, cash-flow reporting and forecasting, budgeting, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations and compliance, benefits administration, and general office operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who thrives in a multifaceted environment, can effectively manage competing priorities, and is comfortable working across Finance, HR, Operations, and Sales functions.

This individual will serve as the primary Finance and HR point of contact for North American operations, collaborating with a global Finance and HR organization to ensure alignment with corporate policies, processes, and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Financial Management – 60%
  • Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoice preparation, issuance, tracking, and follow-up in collaboration with project managers.
  • Manage accounts payable and support budget monitoring and financial reporting.
  • Provide monthly expenditure summaries to leadership, including comparisons against approved budgets.
  • Manage semi-monthly payroll processing and 401(k) administration.
  • Oversee third-party bookkeeping support to ensure timely monthly financial close and annual audit completion.
  • Support financial document management and contract administration, including coordination of required documentation with corporate Finance teams.
  • Support annual budgeting, ongoing forecasting, and financial analysis in collaboration with leadership, budget owners, and Corporate Finance.
  • Assist with maintaining local, state, and federal registrations and certifications.
  • Manage company banking activities, including credit card accounts, payment processing, and financial documentation.
  • Prepare financial reports and future projections for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Participate in corporate Finance reporting processes, meetings, and initiatives.
Human Resources Management – 30%
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, onboarding, offboarding, and employment documentation.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and organizational charts.
  • Ensure organizational changes are properly communicated and aligned with corporate HR requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Advise managers on employee relations matters and corrective action plans.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee records.
  • Oversee employee benefits administration, including healthcare, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Manage and maintain employee timekeeping systems and billing codes as directed by leadership.
  • Support and train local managers on HR and organizational processes.
  • Develop and maintain local HR policies and procedures in coordination with Corporate HR.
  • Participate in corporate HR meetings, projects, and initiatives.
Operations & Administrative Support – 10%
  • Coordinate office vendors and facilities to ensure the workplace meets business needs.
  • Plan and coordinate office events, team-building activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure appropriate business insurance coverage, including facility and umbrella insurance.
  • Support the administration and management of systems spanning HR, Finance, Operations, and Sales.
  • Provide additional administrative and operational support as assigned by leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a multifaceted role involving Finance, HR, business administration, and/or operations.
  • Experience collaborating with international or geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, expense management, financial reporting, or related functions.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot is preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully pass required federal security checks and obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within the military or defense industry.
  • Previous experience working in a small business, startup, or rapidly growing organization.
  • Experience organizing company events and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Sales or pre-sales experience.
  • Experience working in a role requiring broad responsibility across multiple business functions.
