Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Company Overview: Join our dynamic team as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, where you'll be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of two key facilities: a standard office building and a manufacturing warehouse. Our client values reliability, safety, and efficiency, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to uphold these standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
  • Conduct regular inspections of both the office building and manufacturing warehouse to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs, maintenance services and lawn care.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards across both facilities.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of office furniture and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning and upkeep of common areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and outdoor spaces.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining records and coordinating with vendors.

  • Successful completion of a drug test and criminal background check.
  • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
