Job Description
Are you ready to take your engineering career to new heights in the aerospace and defense industry? We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary group, using your expertise to design, develop, and integrate advanced software systems for critical projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate embedded software for aerospace and defense projects.
- Ensure software components meet industry standards, including DO-178C requirements.
- Develop high-quality, real-time software using C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software to ensure performance and reliability in real-time environments.
- Document software designs, processes, and test results in accordance with aerospace industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and compliance with DO-178C standards.
- Prior experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) standards.
- Additional experience in safety-critical systems or avionics software development.
