Are you a skilled Electronic Technician with a passion for maintaining critical communication and navigation systems? This opportunity places you at the forefront of supporting essential operations on a US Army Base in the Marshall Islands. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain communications and navigation systems for high-performance reliability.
  • Use specialized test equipment and software diagnostics to isolate and address system malfunctions.
  • Repair mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Tune, align, and adjust equipment to meet operational standards.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment at regular intervals to assess operational status.
  • Perform operational checks to ensure system readiness.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records for audit and performance tracking.
  • Repair, adjust, and align TACAN, DVOR, ILS, and other integrated systems to pass re-certification and periodic flight checks.
  • Operate standard test equipment and test sets for CNS-related equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in installations, repairs, troubleshooting, or maintenance of electronic systems or equipment.
  • Technical expertise to solve complex problems with minimal guidance and independent judgment in supporting electronic systems.
  • Three years of experience in preventive maintenance on ground radio communications systems and related equipment.
  • Experience inspecting equipment, replacing defective components, conducting operational checks, and maintaining accurate inspection and maintenance records.

Desired Skills:
  • Three years of experience maintaining Communications and Navigational Systems, including navigational status and reporting systems.
  • Familiarity with status collection and display systems, along with hands-on experience in tuning, aligning, and adjusting equipment.
  • Ability to perform detailed operational checks and maintain thorough maintenance records.
