EMC/EMI Systems Engineer
Are you ready to put your expertise to work on some of the most ambitious missions in human history? We’re seeking an EMC/EMI Systems Engineer to provide critical systems-level support for NASA Spaceflight Programs—ensuring mission success through rigorous electromagnetic compatibility and interference analysis.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of spaceflight innovation, responsible for:
  • Performing EMC analysis, test planning, and circuit-level testing & analysis
  • Evaluating test and analysis data, waivers, and anomalies in areas such as electromagnetic interference (EMI), electrostatic discharge, corona, grounding, isolation, bonding, and wiring
  • Preparing progress reports, technical documentation, and schedules to support design reviews and team meetings
  • Ensuring mission-critical hardware meets stringent NASA and aerospace standards
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree from an ABET-accredited university in Electrical Engineering or Physics (advanced degree preferred)
  • Ph.D. + 14 years, M.S. + 18 years, or B.S. + 20 years of relevant experience
  • Proven expertise in EMC analysis, test planning, and critical circuit test & analysis for space or flight hardware and systems
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-462 standards
  • Strong proficiency in PC-based software tools
  • Experience with International Space Station (ISS) hardware and payloads is a strong plus
