Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Join our team in a pivotal role where precision and expertise come together. We are seeking a skilled assembler to contribute to the manufacturing of cutting-edge aerospace and simulation products. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, this opportunity is for you. Your work will directly impact the quality and performance of electronics used in advanced simulation avionic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic equipment and ensure precise installation of components, units, sub-assemblies, and wiring.
- Utilize various techniques in the assembly process, including soldering, wire stripping, crimping pins, applying heat shrink tubing, and attaching labels.
- Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, specifications, work orders, and reports.
- Conduct product testing to verify compliance with specifications.
- Engage in manual assembly for small-scale production of electronic devices integral to simulation avionic systems.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual soldering.
- Recent experience in PC Board soldering.
- Ability to interpret work instructions and assembly drawings independently.
- Skilled in wiring units from schematics and wiring diagrams with minimal oversight.
- Familiarity with using crimping tools, ohmmeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.
- An Electronic Engineering Technology degree is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and maneuver items up to 20 pounds; includes standing, walking, reaching, and pulling.
