Configuration Manager – Aerospace Systems
Location: DFW
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:
  • Lead configuration control efforts across aerospace system projects, maintaining compliance with ARP4754 and related standards.
  • Develop and implement robust configuration management processes aligned with ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-160, and DO-178C.
  • Create and maintain a Configuration Management Plan (CMP) to track engineering changes, system baselines, and product iterations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate configuration documentation and control.
  • Oversee change management processes, including managing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Manage documentation, drawings, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project milestones like PDR and CDR.
  • Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings to review and approve changes.
  • Conduct configuration audits and verification in line with ARP4754A and DO-178C standards.
  • Monitor compliance with system configurations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Produce configuration status reports for stakeholders.
  • Enhance configuration management practices by incorporating industry best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Strong experience in aerospace configuration management, particularly with ARP4754A.
  • Knowledge of change management and configuration control systems.
  • Familiarity with ARP4761, DO-160, and DO-178C standards.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
