We're on the lookout for a visionary Chief Engineer who can steer the course of pioneering design and development, contributing to significant projects in support of U.S. Army contracts. Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the design, development, and testing of advanced aerospace and defense systems, ensuring they surpass customer expectations.
  • Implement and oversee engineering processes, standards, and best practices to guarantee uniform technical brilliance.
  • Facilitate collaboration among diverse teams such as project management, systems engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure adherence to industry norms, government regulations, and company policies throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Manage technical risks effectively and devise robust mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners, staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Contribute to business growth by offering technical insights during proposal creation and client interactions.
  • Mentor and develop the technical team, identifying training needs and providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Participate in strategic planning to define the company's technical direction and roadmap.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 15 years of experience in aerospace and defense product development, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven expertise in the design, development, and testing of aerospace and defense systems.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional project teams.
  • Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry standards and government regulations.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective technical and non-technical dialogues.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in guiding and inspiring technical teams.
  • Skilled in technical risk management and strategy development.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Business development experience, including proposal writing and client meetings, is desirable.
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
