Position: Business Analyst

Join a high-impact federal modernization initiative supporting one of the most critical revenue systems in the country. We are seeking a dedicated Agile Project Analyst to play a key role in enhancing and implementing improvements to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) revenue collection system—responsible for managing over $85 billion annually in duties, taxes, and fees.

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Indianapolis, IN, with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Agile project management lifecycle, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and translate into actionable development tasks

  • Manage and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system enhancements and ensure business needs are met

  • Assist in training users and developing documentation and training materials

  • Drive stakeholder engagement, ensuring continuous communication and alignment across teams

  • Collaborate closely with the Prime project manager and act as a liaison between CBP, developers, and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience supporting IT or financial systems within an Agile environment

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, user story creation, and backlog management

  • Experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder communication

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate UAT processes and training sessions

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

  • U.S. Citizenship (required for federal contracting roles)

  • Ability to work 100% on-site in Indianapolis

  • Client approval required for final onboarding

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with federal agencies, particularly U.S. Customs and Border Protection or other DHS components

  • Familiarity with trade, customs, or revenue collection systems

  • Knowledge of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) and its role in U.S. import/export processing

  • Agile or Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP)

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a mission-critical system that supports national economic and border security. If you’re passionate about agile project delivery and making a measurable impact in public service, we’d love to hear from you.
