Job Title: Designer III

Summary:
We are seeking a Designer III to join our team supporting advanced aerospace projects. This role involves developing complex designs for aircraft modifications, sub-assembly operations, and advanced systems. The position includes creating CAD models, detailed drawings, and supporting the full design process from concept through fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop CAD model concepts, 3D Xperience/3D modeling, and 2D drawings
- Support design and development of jigs, fixtures, lifting devices, and semi-automated equipment
- Provide technical support to ensure producibility during manufacturing, testing, and field use
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 6+ years of relevant experience (higher education may substitute)
- Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools and 3D modeling software
