Job Description
We are seeking a skilled acquisition professional to play a key role in managing and executing complex defense programs. This position supports a high-visibility acquisition office responsible for coordinating across program offices, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the acquisition lifecycle and can independently contribute to program success.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end acquisition lifecycle activities for major programs
- Develop and manage acquisition schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate across program offices, external agencies, and stakeholders
- Provide acquisition guidance aligned with DoD 5000 series processes
- Track program performance and identify risks or delays
- Prepare briefings and documentation for senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with acquisition policies and regulatory requirements
- 10+ years of experience in DoD acquisition or program management
- Strong knowledge of DoD 5000 series acquisition processes
- Experience supporting or managing ACAT I/II programs
- Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience working with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Experience supporting high-visibility or agency-level acquisition offices
- Background in program management or acquisition strategy
- Experience coordinating across multiple complex programs
