Job Description


We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive knowledge of the Apache AH-64/E helicopter. The ideal candidate will have operated the Apache AH-64/E as an Instructor Pilot (IP) and possess deep technical and operational understanding of the aircraft. This role will be critical in developing and refining simulation scenarios, ensuring accuracy, and providing expert guidance on all matters related to the Apache AH-64/E.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Simulation Development: Collaborate with the simulation development team to create realistic and accurate training scenarios for the Apache AH-64/E helicopter.
  • Expert Consultation: Provide expert advice and insights on the operational capabilities, limitations, and tactical employment of the Apache AH-64/E.
  • Training Material: Develop and review training materials, manuals, and guides to ensure they reflect real-world operational standards and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of simulation scenarios to ensure they meet the highest standards of accuracy and realism.
  • Instructional Support: Assist in the training of simulation users, providing hands-on instruction and support as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with advancements in helicopter technology, simulation methodologies, and training techniques to continually enhance our simulation offerings.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Direct experience operating the Apache AH-64/E helicopter, with significant experience as an Instructor Pilot (IP).
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Apache AH-64/E's systems, performance characteristics, and operational procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications or training in simulation development or instructional design.
  • Military Background: Previous military experience, particularly within aviation units operating the Apache AH-64/E.
